Project title: 

Close loop building blocks for neurostimulator devices.

Project Description:

This project is dedicated to the development of a Closed-Loop Neurostimulator Device specifically designed to address a targeted brain disorder. Leveraging cutting-edge neurotechnological tools and techniques, the project aims to create a device capable of delivering therapeutic interventions tailored to individual patient needs.

Key Project Objectives:

1.Tailored Neurotechnological Intervention: Utilize artificial intelligence(AI), feedback control systems, and real-time data analysis to customize the functionality of the neurostimulator device according to the user's clinical state and therapeutic requirements.

2.Development of Technical Building Blocks: Design and develop reusable technical building blocks essential for the creation of the Closed-Loop Neurostimulator Device. These building blocks will form the foundation forfuture neurotechnological applications and advancements in the field.

3.Functional Prototype Development: Engineer a functional prototype of the Active Implantable Medical Device (AIMD) that embodies the closed-loop neurostimulation concept. The prototype will serve as a tangible demonstration of the device's capabilities and pave the way for further refinement and optimization.

Who are we looking for?

A first-year Master's student with a background in science or technology engineering, who is passionate about neurotechnology. The ideal candidate possesses skills in electrical circuits, embedded systems. data processing, machine learning, AI, signal processing.

Project length:

6-12 month project/ ~8 hours/week
