This Year's Events
Hackathon
Biomedix and Neurotech Leuven are teaming up to host a hackathon where you will get hands-on with technology that is actively used in the field. Expect a mix of technical and non-technical challenges, so you can build something solid and still have plenty of space to think creatively.
Mindseed '26
Mindseed is Neurotech Leuven’s flagship conference, bringing together students, researchers, and professionals at the intersection of neuroscience and technology. The event features talks, discussions, and opportunities to explore current research, emerging ideas, and real-world applications in neurotechnology.
This year’s theme focuses on making neurotechnology more accessible, exploring who gets to shape innovation, who benefits from it, and how neurotechnology can become more approachable, ethical, and patient-centered. The evening will feature engaging talks and a panel discussion with speakers from academia, industry, and lived experience.
Everyone is welcome.
No background in neuroscience or technology is required. Whether you’re new to the topic or already familiar with the field, MINDSEED is designed as an open and welcoming space to learn, listen, and connect.
Reception afterwards
After the event, join us fora reception at Group T, with snacks and drinks provided.
Attendance is completely free, registration required.

MedTech Convention
The MedTech Convention is meant to inform and inspire all students interested in the fascinating world of medical technology. First, some key figures in the MedTech sector in Belgium will give a keynote about their innovative medical technologies, and how they are shaping the future of healthcare.
Afterwards, you get to connect and ask questions to fast-growing, innovative companies all working on various topics within medical technology. Our booth fair allows companies to showcase what they are working on, and how they see healthcare evolving.
